Leave DIVI alone – stay in wordpress
Posts are what you think of when you think of a blog; they’re dated, and appear in reverse chronological order. They move down your blog as you publish new ones. They’re browsable in the WordPress.com Reader, where prospective fans can find them under tags you assign them.
Click on add a post. This will create a draft post on your blog and open up the post editor. In the top field, insert a title. Remember to save every so often!

In the large area below the title, write your post. To add more interest, use the formatting buttons, which you may recognize from a word processor. Along with standard formatting options like bold, italics, and bullet points, there are two specific tools here that are helpful to know about: the link and quote tools.

Adding Image
There are two ways to do this: you can drag the image files from your desktop right into the post where they’ll be automatically uploaded and inserted, or you can use the tools within the editor.
To add an image from the editor, place your cursor in the text where you’d like to put the image, and click +button. You can upload, which will take you to your computer, or you can go to the media library to pick an image.

When you click on the pencil icon of the image you can edit that image. You can type the title, caption and a description (which is important regarding meta-data and seo-ing). You can even create a link for the image.
Once the image is in your post, you can choose its alignment and adjust its size. Click on the image to pull up these options.
If you’d like to have your words wrap around the image, choose a right or left alignment option. Use the plus and minus signs to increase or decrease the size of the image, and the thought bubble to edit your caption.
You can also adjust the size of your image right in the post by clicking and dragging one of the boxes at the image’s corners.
To remove the image entirely, click the Trash icon.
VERY IMPORTANT!! IF YOU WANT IT TO DISPLAY CORRECTLY IN DIVI
Give your new post a featured image!
Give your new post a few tags and categories
You will see an area for that in the right-hand column. (To add categories and tags you have to be in Document and not Block mode) This is important. If the categories are not defined the post will not appear on the designated MEDIA page. If the post still won’t appear on the MEDIA page, let me know.
Note how you must toggle between the Document and Block settings to get to different functions.

ROW AND SECTION
Divi Sections, Rows & Row Options, and Modules
Sections are the builder’s largest building blocks, and can be used in various ways. Sections shows up in blue. You add a row inside your section. Then you add your modules inside your row. You can change the way the row contains the modules.

The blue block is the section. Inside the section you add the row (that is the green block). Inside that you add the modules like text, image, video, slider etc
Rows are the various column layouts that can placed inside of sections. Much like modules, rows have various settings that can be accessed by clicking the settings icon on the top left of the row.
Rows settings in particular can be used to greatly increase the variety of layouts built with Divi since they create the structure that your modules are housed in.

Add the video.
You already have a section and a row identified. See the blue settings bar, that is the section. Within that is the green bar which is the row. There is already a module added, ie the video.
If you want to move the modules, grab it by the ear and drag it to where ever it needs to sit! The ear is that icon in the black bar on the left.
ADDING PAGES AND WORKING USING DIVI
ADD A VIDEO
FIRST! LOG IN using your username and password
ENABLE DIVI – it sits at the top in the black wp bar. It takes you to the visual builder side.
The same way u add the video, u add text, image and all sorts of stuff. Play with that a bit.
You will see the green row bar gives you the option to create columns within which you can add your modules…but more about that later. Lets add a video now.

How To Add A Video Module To Your Page
Once you have entered the Visual Builder, you can click the gray plus button to add a new module to your page. New modules can only be added inside of Rows. If you are starting a new page, don’t forget to add a row to your page first.

Locate the video module within the list of modules and click it to add it to your page. The module list is searchable, which means you can also type the word “video” and then click enter to automatically find and add the video module! Once the module has been added, you will be greeted with the module’s list of options. These options are separated into three main groups: Content, Design and Advanced.
Under the Content tab of the Video Module Setting, enter the video URL of the video u want to embed on the page.
Video URL
The Divi Video module lets you add video using two different methods. You can either upload your own video file from your computer by clicking the “Upload Video” button and selecting the desired file, or you can input any Video URL from a third party video source such as Youtube or Vimeo. Simply copy and paste the URL from your browser and paste it into the Video URL field and Divi will take care of the rest!.
